Come be a part of Vermont’s largest all-saxophone orchestra

This year’s Burlington Discover Jazz festival is a celebration of our many communities reuniting after more than a year of loss and isolation. We are excited to kick off the festival with a shining moment of communal release: a unique participatory gathering called 50 Saxophones.

For this event, any and all saxophonists—all ages and skill levels, and any type of saxophone you have—are invited to join us on Friday, June 4 at 6 pm at the Burlington waterfront to make some noise. Under the guidance of a local music director, the assembled saxophonists will unite on a selection of songs to create a bit of joyous commotion. Come help us kick off the 2021 Burlington Discover Jazz Festival on the right note.
