DIGITAL MARKETING ASSISTANT

Basic Function

The assistant supports the marketing team with a broad range of tasks including securing marketing materials, communicating with vendors, inputting data to various platforms, evaluating key metrics and providing marketing statistics, posting, and monitoring social media, and jumping in on creative projects as needed.


Characteristic Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contact artist representatives to obtain and organize artist materials—show descriptions, photos, videos, social handles, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining of the social media calendar and working with the graphic designer, post and monitor social media sites to include Facebook, Instagram, and X.
  • Work with the development department to obtain all sponsor logos and social media handles.
  • Assist in cleaning, updating, and growing our list of press contacts and digital calendars.
  • Work with our partners to provide free tickets to shows when available.
  • Conduct social media research, in conjunction with our digital marketing partners, to find out more about artists of interest, other arts organizations, and industry influencers.
  • Working with the Director of Marketing on press events and outreach.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing on media plans for presented productions.
  • Attending shows and capturing content for social media when needed.
  • Collaborating with other departments and marketing team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional or Intern experience in social media.
  • Self-starter with ability to juggle and take responsibility for multiple projects.
  • Detail oriented, willingness to try new things and bring new ideas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Passion for the arts.
