Movement in the Park: Group Dances

Have you ever been to a wedding or bar mitvah and felt lost when the DJ plays the Electric Slide? Join instructor Rose Bèdard with your family to learn and explore popular group dances, such as the Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide, and more! 

All classes take place in public parks, and social distancing and other safety measures will be enforced throughout the spectator area. Chalk circles will be drawn six feet apart from each other and signs will be placed all over to reinforce the measures that are expected. In the case of weather related cancellation, you will be notified by phone and email 3 hours prior to the start of class. Registration closes 2 hours prior to class start time. 

Meeting location within park will be emailed to you prior to the day of the class.

• Pre-registration is required for contact tracing purposes and in order to maintain low numbers and be able to prepare the space ahead of time.
• All students will have a health screening done (temperature and verification of no symptoms) prior to class.
• Cloth face masks covering nose and mouth are required for all attendees (BYO or disposable available on site). Masks may be removed when class begins and placed within your own chalk circle. Masks must be put back on anytime you leave your chalk circle.
• Eye coverings are now encouraged for prevention (BYO glasses or sunglasses).
• Keep 6ft distance from others.
