The Trumpet Titans Tribute Band was formed in 2022 by keyboardist Joe Davidian to honor his lifelong best friend, the late, great trumpeter and Vermont maple sugar maker Tom Morse. Given that Tom was a brilliant trumpeter-composer in his own right, Joe selected and arranged compositions written exclusively by the great jazz trumpeters of the past: from Dizzy Gillespie to Freddie Hubbard to Miles Davis and more.

The current Trumpet Titans Tribute Band features many native Vermonters with whom Tom grew up playing, including his brother Robinson Morse on bass, Joe Davidian on keyboards, P.J. Davidian on percussion, Conor Elmes on drums, Nicholas Cassarino on guitar, and Luke Laplant on bari sax, as well as a heavy-hitting lineup of frontmen horn players who are honorary Vermonters in their own right: Tom Gershwin on trumpet, Bryan McNamara on alto sax, and Mike Bjella on tenor sax.

Performing classic jazz tunes set to modern hip-hop grooves, with world-class improvisation and a celebratory vibe, the Trumpet Titans Tribute Band is a unique and highly-funkified experience that's not to be missed!
