Jeh Kulu Dance and Drum Theater invites you to a dynamic rhythmic performance featuring Master Drummers from Guinea and Senegal playing djembe and doun doun drums. Jeh Kulu means “community” in the Bambara language of Mali and that is what we hope to create with our live performances which are designed to engage audiences of all ages. All performances involve audience participation where participants can learn some traditional movements. Join us for a celebration of rhythm, movement, and the enduring spirit of West Africa!
FlynnZone Kids Hour is a free monthly performance series designed for kids ages 3-5. Each month, the Flynn invites a different local artist or group to the theater to play a variety of fun and interactive shows in a safe and welcoming environment. Shows are held on the second Saturday of each month at 10 am.
