James Harvey

About

James Harvey grew up on a Vermont dairy farm. He has worked across the US and Europe with musicians like Don Cherry, Cecil Taylor, Professor Longhair, and DJ Logic. Harvey returned to Vermont twenty-five years ago, spent a number of years studying and meditating in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, and has remained here, working with the next generation of Vermont musicians like Jennifer Hartswick, Nick Cassarino, and the late Paul Brana. He lives in Burlington.

James is honored to welcome special guest saxophonist Stacy Dillard, a rising star of the NYC jazz scene, for this show.
