Inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl and the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Matilda: The Musical, Lyric Theatre Company presents their take on the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny. This imaginative and entertaining rendition, adapted by the Royal Shakespeare Company, revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination, and the inspiring story of a girl who dreams of a better life. With book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda continues to enchant audiences of all ages around the world.

Packed with high-energy dance numbers, catchy songs, and an unforgettable cast of characters, Matilda is a joyous musical romp. Lyric Theatre Company is delighted to bring this story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination to the Flynn Main Stage as a part of their 48th season.
