Swing Jam returns to City Hall Park for this year's Burlington Discover Jazz Festival. Gotta dance? Need a safe place? Come join us by the fountains while globally renowned "legends of vinyl" DJ Richie Conte and National Dance Champion David Larson invite you back out onto the dance floor. Yes, that's right, a dance floor in City Hall Park.
There's a mini swing lesson at 6:30 pm, which is easy to learn and fun to share. At 7 pm, Richie Conte’s repertoire of swing dance musical styles continually brings dancers of all ages onto the dance floor for a non-stop eclectic flow of swing dance fun. See you there!
Community Spotlight features a rotating lineup of local arts groups that passes the mic to a tremendous cast of local arts groups every Tuesday evening: Jeh Kulu Drum & Dance Theater, Burlington Taiko, SwingDance Jam, and Soulshine Yoga.
