Staten Island native Sal Vulcano is best known for creating and starring in truTV’s long-running hidden-camera prank show hit Impractical Jokers. He and his pals in the Tenderloins comedy troupe also star in the TBS game show The Misery Index. In his own words, “We are not actors doing pranks, we’re legitimately four best friends who are doing what we’ve always done, but with cameras.” His first big break happened when he participated in, and ultimately went on to win, the NBC comedy show, It’s Your Show. In addition to performing to sold-out arenas as the breakout star of the Tenderloins crew, Sal founded the No Presh Network in 2020, hosting Hey Babe! and Taste Buds podcasts.
