To inspire means to fill someone with the urge or ability to do or feel something. It also means to breathe in. There’s a beautiful connection between the two: when we breathe, we take in the world around us, stirring thoughts, feelings, and impulses that can become the foundation for expression.
For a performer, the breath can carry those thoughts and feelings outward, transforming them into words that are alive in the moment.
In this workshop, we’ll use the Linklater technique to free the voice and explore the vital connection between breath, feeling, and language.
Breathe in. Feel deeply. Speak freely.
