Making a donation to the Flynn in the name of a friend or loved one is an excellent gift for any special occasion. With this donation option, the person of your choice will receive a personal letter from the Flynn letting them know that you have made a thoughtful gift in their name. Memorial gifts are made to recognize someone dear to the donor who has passed away, to celebrate his or her life. Special memories are created at the Flynn and there could be no better way to honor a loved one’s (or your) special memories than through a tribute gift that supports the Flynn and the arts. Loved ones may prefer to ask for memorial gifts through the published obituary or a memorial notice. The message might read, “In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in memory of (name of person) to the Flynn Center, 153 Main Street, Burlington VT 05401.”
