This year’s Hug Your Farmer celebrates the 50th anniversary of The Last Waltz, The Band’s legendary farewell concert and one of the most beloved moments in American music history. An all-star lineup of Vermont musicians and special guests to revisit the songs, spirit, and communal magic of that classic night. Expect a joyful, genre-spanning tribute filled with rock and roll, roots, soul, folk, gospel, blues, and Americana — the music that shaped The Band and continues to inspire generations.

Now in its 16th year, Select’s music benefit series has raised more than $1 million for local Vermont farming initiatives. In the last three years alone, Hug Your Farmer concerts have raised more than $500,000 for the Vermont Community Foundation’s farming initiatives. Along the way, Hug Your Farmer has become one of Vermont’s great annual musical traditions: a night when artists, audiences and community come together in celebration and support of the farmers who sustain our state.
